The Northbrook Arms is a family owned pub situated in the heart of the village acting as the hub for friends and family to come together.

We are located in the beautiful historic village of East Stratton.

The pub re-opened in July 2020 having been closed for 20 months following a planning application and the refurbishment of the main bar, kitchen and stable. We currently have 50 covers inside the bar and stable, a further 30 in our fairy lit, heated and covered courtyard and a stunning large beer garden situated on the village green. Serving a large selection of ales, lagers, spirits, soft drinks, pizzas and ciabattas and this is just the start.

The bar reopened in July 2020 after 20 months of closure. We now offer a wide range of draft and bottles real ales, lagers and ciders. We also have a fantastic range of coffees, teas and soft drinks.

Since the pub re-opening in July (2020), we are currently on phase two of renovating the rest of the original buildings which will see the creation of three self-catering holiday cottages and three B&B double en-suite rooms. The aim is to get this phase ready in 2021 which won’t only guarentee the future of the sites buildings and outbuildings, but pioneer as a more sustainable business model for remote village / community pubs.

The house to the left of the pub in this picture is the next building to be redeveloped. This will be a four bed self catering luxury cottage.

Phase three will see an extension to the pub, the stable converted to a further two holiday cottages and a new build swimming pool, gym building serving the cottages. All this will be centred around it’s heart which is of course the pub and the beautiful setting of East Stratton.

Soon we hope to have the entire site completed, offering a 5 star experience for patrons of the pub as well as accommodation guests. Our aim is to promote our local area as much as possible, supporting as many local businesses as we go.
